“they will arrest you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, dragging you before kings and governors for My name’s sake.”

Tradémini autem a paréntibus, et frátribus, et cognátis, et amícis, et morte affícient ex vobis: et éritis odio ómnibus propter nomen meum: et capíllus de cápite vestro non períbit. In patiéntia vestra possidébitis ánimas vestras.

Oggi ricordiamo un gruppo di 4 martiri Celso, Nazario (I secolo, i cui corpi sono sati ritrovati da S.Ambrogio), San Vittore (II secolo), Innocenzo (V secolo, lodato da San Gerolamo).
Gesu’ ci dice che non dobbiamo stupirci di nulla, i giusti attraverseranno il Mar Rosso. Prima degli ultimi tempi i veri cristiani subiranno la persecuzione e il martirio. Ma si ripeteranno i prodigi di Dio, giusto e misericordioso verso il suo popolo fedele. Non un capello sara’ loro tortto! Lo Spirito Santo ci suggerira’ cosa dire quando saremo portati nelle Sinagoghe e nei tribunali per essere processati nel nome di Gesu Cristo!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo!

Today we remember a group of 4 martyrs Celso, Nazario (1st century, whose bodies were found by S. Ambrogio), San Vittore (2nd century), Innocenzo (5th century, praised by San Gerolamo).
Jesus tells us that we should not be surprised at anything, the righteous will cross the Red Sea.
Before the end times, true Christians will suffer persecution and martyrdom.
But the wonders of God, just and merciful towards his faithful people, will be repeated.
Not a hair will be twisted to them!
The Holy Spirit will suggest what to say when we are taken to the synagogues and courts to be tried in the name of Jesus Christ!
