INTRO: ARE WE OVERTIME?
One might think that we are overtime in addressing the topic, especially in view of the potential implications at stake. As a Christian, which I consider myself, I feel it as a deep duty of conscience to answer fundamental questions about the current status of the Church.
To answer, however, we must first address two preliminary and related issues, namely:
a) the validity of the resignation of Pope Benedictus XVI together with his appointement al “Pope emeritus”;
b) the validity of the subsequent election of JM Bergoglio as pope Francis.
THE RESIGNATION OF POPE BENEDICTUS XVI
The morning of February 11, 2013 when PPBXVI pronounced officially his resignation in front of the whole Cardinal Collegium, the news resounded like a clear-sky lightning. In the evening of same day also the sky seemed to acknowledge the event. An incredibly powerful lightning, accompanied by a huge roar, hit the top the Saint Peter Cupola located just above the tomb of the Prince of the Apostles. In the morning the decane of Cardinal Collegium, Angelo Sodano had said: “Just as the stars in the sky so the star of his pontificate will for ever shine too”.
HIS APPOINTMENT AS “POPE EMERITUS”
The epoch-making resignation of PPBXVI introduced in the Church also the new institution of “Pope emeritus”. As such, besides the white dress and the right to continue to stay in the Vatican seat, the Pope emeritus retains also the so-called “munus petrinum”, namely of guide, sign or ministry of the Church (1).
Hence, from the election of his successor Francis on 13 marzo 2013 there are not two popes, but – “de facto” an enlarged ministery with an active and a contemplative member respectively.
THE APPOINTMENT OF JM BERGOGLIO AS POPE FRANCIS
Both religion experts and teologicians, as well as common faithful Christians, have agreed on the fact that beginning from March 13,2013 a new situation has occurred, unheard during the bi-millenial history of the Church, which lasts until today: the co-existence in the Vatican of two popes (2) .
CURRENT STATUS AND THE PROPHECIES
How to explain the unprecedented current status of the Chuch in the light of the prophecies and the teachings of the Church? The solution is given by the Christian Cathechism and by the Virgin Mary. The Madonna helself has informed us, through several officially approved miracoulous apparitions or locutions (Fatima, Beate Anna Catharine Emmerich, Maria Valtorta and Maria Natalia Magdolna, etc.), about the “two Popes” heading two churches. More precisely:
A) The first one, headed by the the first Pope, a very old person, is the one faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ which receives all the blessings of God and the Madonna;
B) The second one, headed by the “bishop in white robes”, is a strange sinful “new” church bizzarre, extravagant and gone completely heretic, in which the actual presence is lost of the body of Jesus Christ during the Mass. This is the heretic church ruled by the Antichrist.
