Evangelium Matt 24:42-47.

Gospel Matt 24:42-47
At that time, Jesus said to His disciples, “Watch, for you do not know at what hour your Lord is to come. But of this be assured, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would certainly have watched, and not have let his house be broken into. Therefore you also must be ready, because at an hour that you do not expect, the Son of Man will come. Who, do you think, is the faithful and prudent servant whom his master has set over his household to give them their food in due time? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, shall find so doing. Amen I say to you, he will set him over all his goods.”

DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – 23 ottobre 2021

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)

So you too are prepared, because in the hour you do not think the Son of man will come” says the Lord.

We celebrate today the feast Saint Anthony María Claret y Clará, in Catalan Antoni Maria Claret i Clarà, was a Catholic archbishop and Spanish missionary, founder of the congregations of the Missionaries Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and of the Religious of Mary Immaculate: he was proclaimed saint by Pope Pius XII in 1950.

He made a missionary campaign in Spain, the Canary Islands and Cuba to spread the cult of the prayer of the rosary, the Eucharistic cult, and love for the pope. These are the three points on which we ourselves focus our attention and above all our prayer.

We must be ready for the Lord! We must therefore pray the Rosary every day, for ourselves, the Church and the Pope and through the Eucharist.

Today priests no longer worry about all this.

Let us also pray for them to redeem themselves and that the fullness of the Glory of God will take over the Church!

Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
