47 Gesù intanto, visto Natanaèle che gli veniva incontro, disse di lui: «Ecco davvero un Israelita in cui non c’è falsità». 48 Natanaèle gli domandò: «Come mi conosci?». Gli rispose Gesù: «Prima che Filippo ti chiamasse, io ti ho visto quando eri sotto il fico». 49 Gli replicò Natanaèle: «Rabbì, tu sei il Figlio di Dio, tu sei il re d’Israele!». 50 Gli rispose Gesù: «Perché ti ho detto che ti avevo visto sotto il fico, credi? Vedrai cose maggiori di queste!». 51 Poi gli disse: «In verità, in verità vi dico: vedrete il cielo aperto e gli angeli di Dio salire e scendere sul Figlio dell’uomo».

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
E’ l’episodio di Natanaele nel Vangelo: coloro che andranno in cielo vedranno il cielo aperto e gli angeli di Dio salire e scendere sul Figlio dell’uomo.
Dobbiamo imparare a videre con gli angeli anche adesso. Abbiamo infatti bisogno di loro!
E’ sempre piu’ chiaro che la battaglia e’ piu’ spirituale che materiale.
Abbiamo come compagni gli angeli dateci da Dio per la nostra protezione. Loro infatti sono dalla parte dei Signore ed hanno un compito preciso: precisamente quello di aiutarci nel nostro cammino.
Affidiamoci a loro e chiediamo con fiducia il loro aiuto. Loro risponderanno alla nostra richiesta secondo il progetto della Provvidenza.
Abbiamo recitato il Gloria. Si tratta infatti dell’inno angelico per eccellenza da loro recitato la notte dell’Avvento di Gesu’ Cristo.
Gli angeli operano infatti sempre per la gloria di Dio e la Pace degli uomini.
Collaboriamo dunque con gli Angeli che Dio ci ha mandato per il nostro bene!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

It is the episode of Nathanael in the Gospel: those who go to heaven will see heaven open and the angels of God ascend and descend on the Son of man.
We must learn to see with angels even now. We indeed need them! It is increasingly clear that the battle is more spiritual than material.
We have as companions the angels given to us by God for our protection. In fact, they are on the side of the Lord and have a specific task: precisely to help us on our journey.
Let us entrust ourselves to them and ask for their help with confidence. They will respond to our request according to the plan of Providence.
We recited the Gloria.
It is in fact the angelic hymn par excellence recited by them on the night of the Advent of Jesus Christ. Indeed, the angels always work for the glory of God and the Peace of men.
Let us therefore collaborate with the Angels that God has sent us for our good!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
