Evangelium Giov 14:13-21
13Udito ciò, Gesù partì di là su una barca e si ritirò in disparte in un luogo deserto. Ma la folla, saputolo, lo seguì a piedi dalle città. 14Egli, sceso dalla barca, vide una grande folla e sentì compassione per loro e guarì i loro malati.15Sul far della sera, gli si accostarono i discepoli e gli dissero: «Il luogo è deserto ed è ormai tardi; congeda la folla perché vada nei villaggi a comprarsi da mangiare». 16Ma Gesù rispose: «Non occorre che vadano; date loro voi stessi da mangiare». 17Gli risposero: «Non abbiamo che cinque pani e due pesci!». 18Ed egli disse: «Portatemeli qua». 19E dopo aver ordinato alla folla di sedersi sull’erba, prese i cinque pani e i due pesci e, alzati gli occhi al cielo, pronunziò la benedizione, spezzò i pani e li diede ai discepoli e i discepoli li distribuirono alla folla. 20Tutti mangiarono e furono saziati; e portarono via dodici ceste piene di pezzi avanzati. 21Quelli che avevano mangiato erano circa cinquemila uomini, senza contare le donne e i bambini.
Gospel John 14: 13-21
13Hearing this, Jesus left there in a boat and withdrew by himself to a deserted place. But the crowd, hearing this, followed him on foot from the cities. 14He got out of the boat and saw a great crowd and felt compassion for them and healed their sick. 15At evening the disciples approached him and said to him, “The place is deserted and it is now late; dismisses the crowd to go to the villages to buy food ». 16But Jesus answered, “They don’t need to go; give them something to eat yourself. ‘ 17 They said to him, “We have but five loaves and two fish.” 18And he said, “Bring them here to me.” 19 And after ordering the crowd to sit down on the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking up to heaven, pronounced the blessing, broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples distributed them to the crowd. 20They all ate and were satisfied; and they took away twelve baskets full of leftover pieces. 21Those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
In preparazione alla festa di Cristo Re e alla Festa dei defunti. Contempliamo il cuore ferito di Gesu. Nessuno puo’ comprendere la sapienza e profondita’ dell’amore di Cristo. Non possiamo possedere in terra questa conoscenza.
Ma abbiamo degli assaggi. Non solo nella preghiera ma anche nella preghiera personale.
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato! Il Signore e’ benigno anche nei confronti dei peccatori con la forza dello Spirito Santo. Il Signore ha un grande rispetto del nostro libero arbitrio.
Mentre il demonio minaccia e cerca di forzarci al peccato! Che grandissima differenza!
Ringraziamo il Signore delle grazie ricevute da lui! Il Suo amore e’ infinito! Proseguiamo nel nostro cammino verso Dio!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

In preparation for the feast of Christ the King and the feast of the dead. We contemplate the wounded heart of Jesus.
No one can understand the wisdom and depth of Christ’s love. We cannot possess this knowledge on earth.
But we have some samples. Not only in prayer but also in personal prayer. Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
The Lord is also kind to sinners with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord has great respect for our agency.
While the devil threatens and tries to force us to sin!
What a huge difference!
We thank the Lord for the graces received from him! His love is infinite!
Let’s continue on our way to God!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
