DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Apoc 21:2-5
“Et dixit, qui sedébat in throno: Ecce, nova fácio ómnia.“
Luke 19:1-10
At that time, Jesus entered and was passing through Jericho.
e quindi:
“And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste and come down; for I must stay in your house today.”

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)
Rev 21: 2-5 “Et dixit, qui sedébat in throno: Ecce, nova fácio ómnia.”
Luke 19: 1-10 At that time, Jesus entered and was passing through Jericho.
and therefore:
“And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste and come down; for I must stay in your house today. ”
Today is an important step. It is the anniversary of the dedication of the two basilicas of St. Peter and that of St. Paul, both erected by Constantine in the fourth century.
They are important dates. They are only later than the basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano. Indeed they are important as they were erected on the tombs of the two great martyr apostles Peter and Paul.
We too are tested in our conscience. We are required to make important choices of faith and discernment.
Saints and angels are interceding for us! We are sure, the church will always survive any threat.
Not the church made of walls and stones, but the church is made by souls who, like Zacchaeus, repent and make amends for their sins,
We must welcome Jesus in our hearts, where he can rest with joy!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
