And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen.

EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\HOMILY:
Evangelium
Luc 2:15-20
Gospel
Luke 2:15-20
At that time, the shepherds were saying to one another, Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us. So they went with haste, and they found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in the manger. And when they had seen, they understood what had been told them concerning this Child. And all who heard marveled at the things told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept in mind all these things, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, even as it was spoken to them.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – MERCOLEDI 29 DICEMBRE , ORE 8.00
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Luc 2:15-20

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)
Luke 2: 15-20
At that time, the shepherds said to each other: “Let’s go to Bethlehem to see the event that has taken place and that the Lord has manifested to us”. They hurried off and found Mary, Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger.
Jesus saved us without our merit, like the shepherds.
It is, in fact, the mercy of God that has saved us!
Not for our merit, but so that we become, like the shepherds, his heralds. In addition to the commitment of witness, we must adore baby Jesus, wrapped in swaddling clothes in the manger!
We must also contemplate with admiration and love the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph.
On the evening of the 31st we will also adore the Most Holy Eucharist to give thanks for the good received throughout the year.
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
