Evangelium Giovanni 6:51-58
51 Io sono il pane vivo, disceso dal cielo. Se uno mangia di questo pane vivrà in eterno e il pane che io darò è la mia carne per la vita del mondo».
52 Allora i Giudei si misero a discutere tra di loro: «Come può costui darci la sua carne da mangiare?». 53 Gesù disse: «In verità, in verità vi dico: se non mangiate la carne del Figlio dell’uomo e non bevete il suo sangue, non avrete in voi la vita. 54 Chi mangia la mia carne e beve il mio sangue ha la vita eterna e io lo risusciterò nell’ultimo giorno. 55 Perché la mia carne è vero cibo e il mio sangue vera bevanda. 56 Chi mangia la mia carne e beve il mio sangue dimora in me e io in lui. 57 Come il Padre, che ha la vita, ha mandato me e io vivo per il Padre, così anche colui che mangia di me vivrà per me. 58 Questo è il pane disceso dal cielo, non come quello che mangiarono i padri vostri e morirono. Chi mangia questo pane vivrà in eterno».

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live for ever and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world ». 52 Then the Jews began to argue among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said: “Most assuredly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you will not have life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food and my blood true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the Father who has life sent me and I live for the Father, so also he who eats me will live for me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not like what your fathers ate and died. Whoever eats this bread will live forever ».

DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Questo e’ il primo venerdi di Novembre, quindi dedicato al Sacro Cuore di Gesu’.
Questa festivita’ e’ voluta espressamente dal Figlio, Gesu Cristo, per il Purgatorio delle anime. Cioe’ la salvezza per le anime meritevoli o immeritevoli. La sua sofferenza sulla croce ha salvato l’umanita. Il suo amore che lui ci trasmette, tramite la persona dello Spirito Santo, attraverso la sua carne e il suo sangue.
Si tratta quindi della Santa Messa, intesa come ripresentazione del sacrificio di Cristo sulla Croce. Per questo la Santa Messa e’ la preghiera piu’ potente a nostra disposizione!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)
This is the first Friday of November, therefore dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
This feast was expressly desired by the Son, Jesus Christ, for the Purgatory of souls. That is, salvation for deserving or undeserving souls. His suffering on the cross saved humanity.
His love that he transmits to us, through the person of the Holy Spirit, through his flesh and blood. It is therefore the Holy Mass, understood as a re-presentation of the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross.
This is why the Holy Mass is the most powerful prayer at our disposal!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
