DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Abbiamo riascoltato l’epistola della domenica “gaudente” e il Vangelo con l’episodio di San Giovanni Evangelista che confessa di essere “una voce che grida nel deserto: Preparate la via del Signore, come disse il profeta Isaia.”
Anche noi dobbiamo, con umilta’, annunciare la via del Signore. San Giovanni invita a lavarsi, a purificarsi dal peccato.
Dobbiamo togliere e combattere il peccato che e’ ancora in noi.
Quando tornera’ il Messia, Gesu’, portera’ una nuova Pentecoste. Ognuno di noi potra’ risplendere alla luce dello Spirito Santo.
Ma prima dobbiamo appianare il nostro cammino affinche’ il nostro incontro con Lui avvenga nella Luce dello Spirito Santo!
Sia lodato Gesu’ Cristo! Sempre sia lodato!

We listened again to the epistle of “joyful” Sunday and the Gospel with the episode of St. John the Evangelist who confesses to being “a voice crying out in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord, as the prophet Isaiah said.”
We too must, with humility, announce the way of the Lord. St. John invites you to wash, to purify yourself from sin.
We must remove and fight the sin that is still in us.
When the Messiah returns, Jesus, he will bring a new Pentecost. Each one of us will be able to shine in the light of the Holy Spirit.
But first we must pave our way so that our encounter with him takes place in the light of the Holy Spirit!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
