EVANGELIUM E OMELIA\GOSPEL AND HOMILY:
Evangelium Matt 1:18-21
Gospel Matt 1:18-21
When Mary, the Mother of Jesus, has been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit. But Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wishing to expose her to reproach, was minded to put her away privately. But while he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Do not be afraid, Joseph, son of David, to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus; for He shall save His people from their sins.
DALL’OMELIA DI (FROM THE HOMILY BY) DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA – Venerdi 24 DICEMBRE, ORE 8.00 / FRIDAY DECEMBER 24, TIME 8.00 a.m.
DALL’OMELIA DI DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (*)
Matt 1:18-21

FROM THE HOMILY BY DON ENRICO RONCAGLIA (**)
Matt 1: 18-21 When Mary, Mother of Jesus, married Joseph, she was found pregnant by virtue of the Holy Spirit before living with him.
We have reached the eve of Holy Christmas. The Gospel presents Mary and Joseph to us.
A prodigy allows the incarnation of the son of God.
It is God himself who incarnates himself to save men, brings blessing and forgiveness. He will save the people from their sins.
Childbirth is also miraculous; Mary is always a virgin, before, during and after the birth of Jesus.
Jesus is here to drive out evil and sin among men.
We must become strong in faith because God is with us! We need to look at the examples of Mary and Joseph.
Joseph is a just person always ready to measure his actions with the Law.
We must follow his example!
Praised be Jesus Christ! Always be praised!
